Big Day at the Bookshop: Ribbon Cutting & Volunteer Luncheon

Yesterday, our Boerne Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony took place at the Bookshop Under the Windmill! President Cheryl Perz spoke to the crowd of about 40 people: she introduced volunteers and talked about the activities of the bookstore. Following the ribbon cutting, the Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon got underway. Our Volunteer of the Year, Pat Beeman, was announced...congrats, Pat! And, while the bookstore was not officially open, we sold over $75 worth of books during these events. Wow!

Watch for photos of the events in The Boerne Star, the Hill Country Weekly and the Chamber's Boerne Business Monthly magazine. Meanwhile, here are some pictures you can enjoy today! (Click "read more" to see more pics!)
