WINTER BOOK SALE!!!
Saturday December 8th from 9:00 am-3:00 pm.
- Santa will be available for pictures from 10:00 am -noon. Bring your camera and capture your 2012 Christmas moments!
- Back by popular demand, our $5 bag sale will be from 2:00pm-3:00pm (we'll provide the bag).
- Local author Connie Callender Lindsay will be signing her Christmas book Jingle from 9:00am-3:00pm in the Library lobby.
Jingle is the main story in the
book, about how jingle bells were invented and why. A second story, RINKUS…THE
REINDEER BULLY, is the story about a mean reindeer who was a bully. Santa and
the elves deal with him in their own way, and he changes himself for the
better. This book teaches children how to handle bullying and what to do in
case of being bullied. Other stories are WHO-O-O-O-O-O-O, a sweet story about a
voiceless little owl who visits the manger in Bethlehem, and receives his own
little miracle. Another story is CHRISTMAS CANDY, and several poems about THE
LAMB AT THE MANGER, and THE NIGHT SANTA PRAYED. For children ages 5-10.
The Shop will be closed during Christmas week and the first week of January for cleaning and inventory. We will reopen on January 9th.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!
