IT'S ALMOST DONE! Alittle more paint and a few more tweaks and the FriendShop will be complete.
Part I of our move is complete. On Saturday, October 29th we moved bookcases, shelves, cabinets and boxes of books out of the storage unit to the FriendShop. Thanks to everyone for helping - especially the ROTC members.
Part II of the move is Saturday, November 5th at 9:00 a.m. We'll be moving out of the Annex to the FriendShop. Volunteers are needed at the FriendShop to unpack and shelve books. The ROTC will be helping us again by moving hundreds of boxes of books. Moving will probably last all day, but if you can spend a couple of hours, that's fine, come on down! All volunteers are welcome! Snacks and drinks will gratefully be accepted. If you can help, be at the FriendShop Saturday, November 5th at 9:00 a.m. Thank you!

FRIENDSHOP GRAND OPENING
The FriendShop grand opening will be on December 10th at 9:00 a.m. with the book sale to follow. The Mayor and past Presidents of the Friends of the Boerne Library will be our special guests. Cake and coffee will be served. All are invited!
HOLIDAY BOOK SALE
The first Holiday Book Sale in FriendShop will be very special.
- The book sale will have extended hours and last until 5:00 p.m.
- Raffle tickets will be available all day for beautiful artwork and local restaurant gift certificates.
Make plans along with your friends to get some fabulous holiday shopping specials!

FRIENDS' CHRISTMAS PARTY
The Christmas party will be on Wednesday, December 14th, 2:00-4:30 p.m. at the Library. The December meeting and election of new officers will be from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Appetizers, dessert and "Friends" famous vodka punch will be served. Friends can sign up to bring an additional appetizer at the library. Joyce Basarich has graciously volunteered to be the chairperson for this event and can be contacted at dbasarich@gvtc.com for further information.

Our October meeting was held on October 7th at the library.
